Remove PDF Pages
Choose a PDF, type the pages to delete, and download a shorter PDF without them.
Your PDF is processed inside this page. It is never uploaded.
What this tool does
To remove pages from a PDF, open the file, enter the page numbers or ranges you want to delete, and download the new PDF. This tool copies only the pages you are keeping into a fresh document, so the original is untouched and the file never leaves your browser.
Reads your PDF, shows how many pages it has, and lets you name the pages to delete as numbers and ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8-10, odd, even or last.
Shows how many pages will remain and builds a new PDF from just those pages when you download.
How to use it
- Choose your PDF file, or drop it into the box.
- Type the pages to remove, for example 2, 5-7. Use the quick buttons for the first page, last page, odd or even pages.
- Check the summary line - it states which pages are being removed and how many remain.
- Press Download PDF.
- Open the result and check it before you replace the original.
Why use this page remover
Takes page numbers the way you would write them - 1-3, 5, 8-10, odd, even or last - and tells you exactly what will stay before you download. Documents often carry pages you do not want to send - a cover sheet, a blank page from a scanner, an appendix, or a page with private details. Removing them yourself takes seconds and avoids sending the whole file to a website to do it.
Why we built it
We built the remove PDF pages tool to take page numbers as you would write them - 1-3, 5, odd, even or last - and to say exactly what will stay. Keep pages instead with extract PDF pages and reorder with organize PDF pages.
Who this tool is for
- People deleting blank or private pages
- Students cleaning scans
- Admins preparing a shorter file
When to use it
- Taking a blank or duplicate page out of a scan.
- Removing a cover sheet or confidential page before sharing a PDF.
- Trimming a report down to the pages that matter.
- Dropping every even page of a two-sided scan.
How it works
Your selection is turned into a list of page numbers. Every page that is not on the list is copied, in its original order, into a brand-new PDF document with pdf-lib. The original file is never modified.
Example: for a 10-page PDF, entering 2, 5-7 removes pages 2, 5, 6 and 7 and leaves a 6-page file made of pages 1, 3, 4, 8, 9 and 10.
Links and bookmarks that point to a removed page are dropped, and form fields on the kept pages are carried over only where the page itself holds them.

Frequently asked questions
How do I remove pages from a PDF?
Choose the PDF, type the page numbers or ranges to delete, and download the result. The remaining pages are copied into a new file in their original order.
Can I remove several pages at once?
Yes. Separate them with commas and use ranges, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10.
Does this change my original file?
No. A new PDF is built from the pages you keep and your original is left exactly as it was.
Can I remove every other page?
Yes - type odd or even to select all odd-numbered or even-numbered pages.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. It is read and rebuilt in your browser and the new file goes straight to your Downloads folder.
Why can it not open my PDF?
It may be password-protected or damaged. Remove the password with Unlock PDF or try Repair PDF, then come back.
